Many trees decline within a few years because they were planted too deep, in the wrong soil, or too close to structures. At Sigourney Treecare, we use our 30 years of arboriculture experience to ensure your investment thrives.

- Proper Planting Depth: We ensure the root flare is visible at grade level. Planting too deep causes trunk rot and girdling roots.
- Utility Safety: We position trees safely away from overhead power lines, underground pipes, and your home's foundation.
1. Selection
We help you source high-quality nursery stock, whether you are looking for fast-growing shade trees, ornamental flowering trees, or privacy screens.
2. Installation
We excavate the site 2-3 times wider than the root ball to encourage root growth, amend the soil if necessary, and stake the tree only if required by wind conditions.
3. Aftercare
We mulch correctly (avoiding "volcano mulching" that kills trees) and provide you with clear instructions on watering to ensure the tree establishes quickly.
